As global competition reshapes the Indo-Pacific, strengthening partnerships and addressing hybrid threats are key to ensuring long-term regional stability.

Italy plays an active role in promoting multilateral dialogue on security, resilience, and cooperation. The region faces complex challenges, from disinformation and cyber threats to climate impacts and organized crime, that require innovative, coordinated responses.

The upcoming High-Level Conference, Indo-Pacific 2025: Prevention and Dialogue, will convene international experts to explore practical initiatives. Focus areas include enhancing cooperation with Indo-Pacific partners, countering hybrid threats, and supporting a stable, rules-based regional order through NATO’s cooperative frameworks.
